Mitt Romney: Speech Critique Writing

How many of you followed the U.S election campaign the past year??
Well.. i did too...n here is a critique writing of a video i saw on cbsnews.com
...it's an interesting piece to read and watch!!

Speech critique writing:
President of Republican Party, Mitt Romney, delivered an acceptance speech on the 31st of August, 2012; for his election campaign.
The commencement was enthusiastic, slightly pompous. His tone bore the confidence and hope of winning over Obama’s disappointed voters; but his swift, monotonous and inexpressive rhetoric turned the convention into a lackluster gathering.
Undertaking to the audience, Romney said, "My promise is to help you and your family.” He said that President Obama had, through numerous mistakes, let his supporters down.
"You know there's something wrong with the kind of job he's done as president when the best feeling you had was the day you voted for him," he said.
He guaranteed economic and healthcare reforms, protection of life, honor to social institutions, and freedom of religion in the U.S. Making an effectively emotional dialogue with the public, he discussed his parents and family. He won the female audience while stating his mother’s incident when she ran for the Senate; he quoted her words as,
“Why should women have any less say than men about the great decisions facing our nation?” Romney’s notably tearful eyes moved many addressees. He released a few of his controversies, veiling many others. Romney declared Obama’s exhilarating “Hope and Change” as disillusionment in the present U.S. Portraying civic sympathy and patriotism, he said,
“I wish President Obama had succeeded because I want America to succeed, but his promises gave way to disappointment and division."
He missed specific details in major topics e.g. the 5-point jobs plan (including energy independence, petite business, shortfall diminution, skill training and international trade), education, foreign policies, provision of 12 million jobs, and missed out the “housing- issue”.
He used the humor tactic, with a superstar guest-speaker, Clint Eastwood, which brought some thrill. In the end, Mitt Romney made his fervent appeal to the country for choosing him. Though he tried to raise the occasion, but failed; making the overall convention jaded.
